Cuatro a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, obtuvieron sus primeros \u00e9xitos con los boleros &#8220;Caleta tropical&#8221;, &#8220;Jacaranda&#8221;, &#8220;Cari\u00f1o&#8221; y muchos m\u00e1s, que hoy hoy temas cl\u00e1sicos. El tr\u00edo Los Santos integra la segunda generaci\u00f3n de estos grupos rom\u00e1nticos, siguiendo la l\u00ednea que implement\u00f3 el Tr\u00edo Los Panchos a partir de 1944.
