Desde principios del siglo XX, defendi\u00f3 con firmeza la educaci\u00f3n femenina, el derecho al voto y la igualdad.<\/p>\n<p>Fue la primera mujer en postularse para una diputaci\u00f3n federal en M\u00e9xico, en un tiempo en que las mujeres a\u00fan carec\u00edan de reconocimiento pol\u00edtico.
