DE LA POBLACI\u00d3N AFRODESCENDIENTE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En 2020, la Asamblea General adopt\u00f3 la resoluci\u00f3n para decretar el 31 de agosto de cada a\u00f1o como el D\u00eda Internacional de los Afrodescendientes.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El 1 % de la poblaci\u00f3n de Chiapas se identifica como afrodescendiente, sumando un total de 56,532 personas de acuerdo con el \u00faltimo censo poblacional.<\/p>\n<p>Benjam\u00edn Lorenzana Cruz, investigador de la Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas (UNICACH), explor\u00f3 en su estudio \u201cLa poblaci\u00f3n afrodescendiente y sus aportaciones a la cultura chiapaneca\u201d la influencia de la poblaci\u00f3n africana en la regi\u00f3n del Soconusco, especialmente en \u00e1reas como religi\u00f3n, danza y gastronom\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>El\u00a0Gobierno de M\u00e9xico reconoci\u00f3 que si bien el levantamiento ind\u00edgena de 1994 en Chiapas hizo recordar a M\u00e9xico que es un pa\u00eds pluricultural, la poblaci\u00f3n afro mexicana y afrodescendiente sigui\u00f3 invisibilizada, lo que facilita la violaci\u00f3n de sus derechos y libertades, aumentando su vulnerabilidad, fomenta su exclusi\u00f3n y la discriminaci\u00f3n que viven para acceder a sus derechos y mejores oportunidades.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Justicia, igualdad y respeto para todos.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Escucha aqu\u00ed:<\/p>\n<div
