Doctora en Letras Romances por la universidad de la Sorbona (Paris IV) en 1982. Investigadora titular del Instituto de Investigaciones Filol\u00f3gicas de la Universidad Nacional Aut\u00f3noma de M\u00e9xico desde 1979 y profesora del posgrado de Letras en la Facultad de Filosof\u00eda y Letras. Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, nivel II.<\/p><p>\u00a0Cr\u00edtica literaria en distintas revistas y suplementos literarios de M\u00e9xico. De 1982 a 1998, fue colaboradora de la revista <strong><em>Vuelta<\/em><\/strong>, dirigida por Octavio Paz, y miembro de la mesa de redacci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Traductora al franc\u00e9s de los siguientes poetas: Mar\u00eda Baranda, Fabio Mor\u00e1bito, Pablo de Rokha, Gonzalo Rojas, Rafael Cadenas, Jos\u00e9 Luis Rivas. Y al espa\u00f1ol de distintos autores franceses, entre otros: Annie Le Brun, Andr\u00e9 Breton, Jean Genet, Aim\u00e9 C\u00e9saire.<\/p><p>Miembro del comit\u00e9 editorial de literatura del Fondo de Cultura Econ\u00f3mica hasta 2019. Caballero de las Artes y Letras por la Rep\u00fablica francesa y condecorada con la insignia del \u00c1guila Azteca por el gobierno de M\u00e9xico.
